A New Face @ Zync...

Hi! My name is Camden and this is my first week working at Zync Digital as a Digital Marketing Intern. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being exposed to both the team’s friendly atmosphere and their rewarding work.

I am a third year student from American University (it sounds like a made up school) in Washington DC, studying Business Marketing and Data Science. I chose my degrees because I’ve always been fascinated how numbers tell a story, which naturally led me to marketing. I will be continuing my business studies at the University of Westminster and take full advantage of living in such a great city like London.

During my second year, I took a class about the intersection between data and art that explained how marketing is the perfect mixture of both. This will be my first experience in the marketing industry and I am excited to both apply what I have been taught and continue to learn how to grow. With my background education being centered in marketing analytics, I specifically look forward to learning about the artistic side of marketing.

Zync Digital’s mission of ethical business practices is one I align myself with. Specialising in social enterprises and credit unions specifically allows me to know that the work I will be contributing to will make a positive difference. I look forward to learning about how avenues of business, such as marketing, can be used for good.

My partner institute being located in Washington, DC has prepared me for life in London more than I could have imagined. I am originally from the suburbs of Charlotte NC, so moving to DC was a shock of its own. But after spending three years learning the ins-and-outs of public transportation and self navigation, I feel better than ever taking on the challenge of moving to another continent!

I am excited to take full advantage of my opportunity to grow as both an employee and a person. I fully plan to make the most of my time in a different culture and take back with me learned experiences to help me be the best version of myself.
