5 AI Tools for Digital Marketers to Use Today

It seems like AI has been the word (or acronym?) on everyone’s lips for a while now. Elon Musk, part-time billionaire, part-time Twitter Overlord, co-signed a letter in March 2023, alongside industry leaders and tech experts, calling for a halt into the research and development of artificial intelligence.

The letter was released after OpenAI’s latest release, Chat GPT-4 which they believed could pose a risk to human society. I know this sounds like something from a sci-fi movie, but AI’s been a big part of society for a long time. Machine learning has been a fundamental element of technology advancement as far back as the 1940s, and whilst the recent developments might seem daunting, there’s no doubt AI tools are going to change the future.

As we saw with the advent of the internet, how businesses anticipate and adapt to use AI tools in the future will ultimately decide their fate.

Not including Chat GPT-4, here are 5 tools that digital marketers can start to use today.

1. Copy AI

Copy.ai is an AI-powered copywriting platform that creates your best-performing customer-facing content. Think Chat-GPT - but specifically for digital marketers.

2. Poised

Poised AI is a real-time communication coach, that aims to help improve your communication skills when on video calls and similar. Imagine you’re in a video-call job interview, and there’s an AI assistant to discreetly tell you when you’re saying too many “uhhs and errs.” Amazing or offputting?

3. NightCafe

Named after Vincent Van Gogh’s famous painting, NightCafe creates art from text-based prompts. It can be used to generate an image of almost anything in any situation - raising questions over the ethics of such image-generation tools.

4. Byword

Crafting compelling and SEO-friendly content is essential for digital marketing success. Byword is an AI-driven writing assistant that assists marketers in creating impactful content. This tool provides suggestions for improving readability, grammar, and style, ensuring that the content is engaging and error-free. With Byword, digital marketers can save time and effort while producing high-quality content that resonates with their target audience.

5. Vidyo

Video marketing has become a powerful tool for brands to engage and captivate their audience. Vidyo is an AI-powered video creation platform that simplifies the process of producing professional-quality videos. With Vidyo, digital marketers can easily create, edit, and enhance videos with features like captions, effects, and filters. This tool empowers marketers to tell their brand story through visually appealing videos, increasing engagement and driving conversions.

As you can see, AI tools go far beyond asking a simple question to get a simple answer. They’re definitely not the finished article and are prone to errors a lot of the time, but tools like the ones above can make a massive difference to the efficiency and effectiveness of digital marketing.

Have you tried any AI tools like the ones above, or have I missed any? Let me know in the comments below!
